The Bike

This is not something you can order. It is not something you can find twice. We took a Mod-bike, handed it to people who think differently about steel and whiskey barrels, and asked for something that has never existed before. What came back is a fully custom, one-of-one build, complete with a sidecar made from an actual retired Still Austin barrel.

It is part machine, part art piece, and entirely unrepeatable. Still Austin was built on the idea that whiskey is a creative act, not just a process. This bike is the same belief, just on two wheels and one barrel.

You will not see this anywhere else, because we only made one.

The Bones Came From Mod Bikes

Mod Bikes is an Austin outfit, born a few miles from our own front door. Their founder went looking for an electric bike that could actually do everything he needed and could not find one, so he built it himself in his garage. That stubborn streak grew into a small design house that builds bikes meant to be ridden hard and reshaped to fit however you move, backed by the kind of service that still feels like a handshake instead of a help desk.

Two Austin outfits that would rather build the thing themselves than settle for what is already on the shelf. Felt like a natural fit.

How to Enter

We are not asking for much. Come see the bike in person, on display now at our distillery in South Austin.

Why We Built This

Quality and creativity have always been the two things we refuse to compromise on, in the whiskey and in everything around it. A barrel does its job for years, then it is done. We do not think "done" means "thrown away." We think it means "not finished yet."

So we turned one into a sidecar. Then we built a bike worthy of riding next to it.
