PUT YOUR STAMP ON STILL AUSTIN

The Still Austin Single Barrel Whiskey program is a premium offering for select partners that gives them the opportunity to share a one-of-a-kind spirit to customers not available anywhere else. Each barrel is hand selected for its unique and highly-desireable characteristics. Partners are given access to these select barrels, to sample and select their favorite. We’ll bottle your selection at cask strength and brand it with your company’s logo exclusively for private sale by your business.

OUR BARRELS

When you select from Still Austin’s barrels, know that you’re choosing from some of the finest whiskey in the country. Our spirits are made from 100% Texas-grown grains and distilled in our 50-foot column still, which was hand-built in Scotland. The bourbon is then aged for at least two years in casks crafted from sustainably grown American oak, perfectly charred to allow the spirits to move in and out of the wood.

Frequently Asked Questions

For Potential Partners:

How much is a single barrel?

The cost of a Still Austin single barrel ranges on average from $12,000 - $13,500.

How many bottles does a single barrel produce?

A single barrel generally yields approximately 200 bottles at 750 mL each.

What kind of Still Austin single barrel options are available?

We offer single barrel options of our bourbon and rye whiskey mashbill. We currently do not offer any finished casks (including Blue Corn, Red Corn or Tanager) or one-off barrels.

When do you release single barrels?

Single barrels are being released intermittently, in different states, throughout the year. There is no set schedule.

Is there a waitlist to join the Still Austin single barrel program?

Yes, there is an extensive waiting list for single barrel selections… usually about 3 months out. Selection dates are booked in the order we receive inquiries for them.

I am interested in partnering with you! Who do I reach out to?

For serious inquiries and to book a tasting, please reach out to our Barrel Program Manager, Christian Wilhoft (Christian@stillaustin.com).

Still Austin is not currently available in my state. Can I still partner with you on a single barrel?

If Still Austin is currently not available in your area, you may still be able to partner with us. For serious inquiries, we are happy to discuss more.

For Consumers:

As an individual, how do I get one of these bottles?

We encourage you to call your preferred local retailer to see if they are part of our single barrel program. These specialty bottles are only sold at select retail stores, and often sell out quickly.

Still Austin’s Nancy Picks (released monthly) are the only single barrels sold at our distillery. These can be bought in person, and cannot be shipped.

Are single barrel bottles sold online?

Sometimes. Occasionally you may find our single barrels online with retailers. However, the vast majority of single barrels sold at retail stores are not available online. You must visit the store to purchase them.

How much is a bottle?

Single barrel bottles usually range between $70-$85 per bottle. Each retailer can price their bottles as needed.

Who did the label artwork?

World-renowned artist (and fellow Austinite) Marc Burckhardt designed the striking label artwork for our  Musician, Artist, Cask Strength Bourbon and Cask Strength Rye flagship bottles, as well as our Bottled In Bond series. This year, Marc redesigned our Single Barrel pick labels (originally acrylic and oil on panel), helping to elevate our bourbon and rye offerings to showcase the Spirit of Creativity.

How can I get my local store/bar to do a single barrel?

Great question! First, ask the owner/manager if they have done single barrel picks in the past— and if they’ve ever done one with Still Austin.

If the business already carries our core lineup, the chances are greater that they will want to do a pick with us.

Additionally, many retail stores will partner with local bourbon clubs to bring in a single barrel pick. They often split the cases between the store and bourbon club.

Do you have a list of current or upcoming partners?

Sorry, we do not have a list that we share externally.
